Celebration Of Service Friday (#15)

“I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction: ‘I served in the United States Navy.'”

President John F. Kennedy

  1. It is so sad that here in England we have nothing like this. I think we are too afraid of upsetting people, even though many ordinary people would be 100% . An inspiring photograph, too!

    1. I made up Celebration of Service Friday for my blog because showing appreciation for the sacrifices of our military is near and dear to my heart. Nationally, there are some who celebrate Red Friday as a remembrance of those deployed. On Fridays they wear red but it’s a small segment of our population. Our PC crowd gets upset at so many things, you can’t really keep track…so I don’t bother. I just carved out my own little space and do what I want in it! Glad you stopped by. Hope your week is going well!
