I’m happy that I’ve been able to keep some muscle on my frame while not lifting as heavy as I used to.  My biggest fear in switching my program around was that I would end up looking like a broomstick with little spaghetti arms and legs.  I’m not as muscular as I once was but my new program is sustainable.  I love my workouts again, and that means I’m winning the biggest part of the fitness battle!

    1. Ha…I’m such a ham. I swear, lighting is EVERYTHING. I liked that picture because I looked all muscle-y! Ha….

      Working hard on my made up program and so far I’m happy with the results. The heavy lifting was not as fun anymore so I switched things around and now I’m looking forward to gym time!

  2. Do you count macros or on any specific eating plan?

    1. I don’t count macros. I’m just making low carb/medium-high protein choices particularly during the week. On the weekend, since I have a family, I tend to indulge more. For some reason my boys aren’t interested in the low carb thing! Ha, ha…

  3. Yes, you look very good, much more towards the fit and healthy end of the spectrum rather than those people who appear to be doing way too much of a good thing.

    1. Thank you! I’ve been working really hard but more than that I’ve been trying to work smart. I’m such a creature of habit that it’s hard for me to break out of an established way of doing things so playing with my program was kind of hair-raising. I wasn’t sure what to expect.

      Also…I swear, lighting makes all the difference in how I look in pics. I think the light was just right that day because I don’t look like that in my mirror each day. Ha…I’m going to always pose out there at precisely 10:53am!
