Bodyweight Squats!

Squats are a great exercise and the good news is that you don’t have to add weight to make them an effective part of your workout.  As a matter of fact, if you’ve been doing squats with weight as a regular part of your routine, it’s a good idea to change things up once in a while.  An effective way of doing that is to incorporate bodyweight squats into your routine.  They may sound easy but you can construct a program around them that’s fun and challenging at the same time.

When doing bodyweight squats it’s important to make sure you’re using the proper form.

Make sure to use good form in order to avoid injury.


This is called a Prisoner Squat (hands placed behind head). I don’t do my squats this way but it’s a good variation if you want to try it!

  1. My diet is actually continuing quite well, although I’m not totally sure which one of the three people in the post I resemble most.

    1. I’m glad to hear your diet is going well. I’ve been doing a good job of eating too much. That happens to me a times so I’ve got to pay a little more attention and get back on track. Happy weekend!
